Each participants needs:

- Bicycle, safe for the use in public traffic (with working brakes, reflectors and lamps);
- An ID card (for Lithuanian – with picture; for foreigners – PASSPORT);
- A travel INSURANCE;
- Money for participation fee (if not paid in advance);
- Youth under 18 age: Legally (by notarian/lawyer) confirmed permission of the parents to participate in the tour with an observing person;
- A spotlight.

Registration fee: For Polish citizens: Lithuanian part (17-23 July 2004) 95 Polish zloty (PLZ); Polish part (24-31 July 2004) 130 PLZ; all tour (Lithuania and Poland) 200 PLZ.

For Lithuanian citizens: Lithuanian part (17-23 July 2004) 70 Litas (lt.); Polish part (24-31 July 2004) 100 Lt. all tour (Lithuania and Poland) 150 Lt.

I. Lithuania, Suvalkija region, 17th-24th July (355 km).

17th July. The day route (38 km.): Marijampole – 19, blacktop – Kalvarija – 13, blacktop – Smalnycenai - 6, gravelled road – Kuosenai (Piliakalniu piliakalnis).
11 AM: J.Basanaviciaus sq., Marijampole. The official opening of the international bike tour with participation of representatives of Marijampole municipality, media.
12 AM: Start of the bike tour.
2 PM: Kalvarija centrinal sq. Meeting with representatives of Kalvarija municipality, media. Excursion.
8 PM: Piliakalniu piliakalnis (near Kuosenai). Folklore get-together, fire, staying overnight.

18th July. The day route (50 km.): Piliakalniu piliakalnis – 5, gravelled road – Bartninkai – 4, blacktop –Ozkabaliai – 7, gravelled road – Graziskiai – 4, blacktop – Kregzdziai – 5, gravelled road – Lankupka – 6, gravelled road – Pavistytis – 7, blacktop – Vistytis – 7, gravelled road – Anclaukys – 5, blacktop – Pajevonys.
10 AM: Decampment.
11-12 AM: Ozkabaliai. Ecxursion in J.Basanavicius homestead-museum.
4-5 PM: Vistytis. Meeting with representatives of manegement of Vistytis Regional Park.
8 PM: Pajevonys (near the pound). Meeting wtih Pajevonys local ethnographer, fire, staying overnight.

19th July. The day route (63 km.): Pajevonys – 7, gravelled road – Uþbaliai – 7, blacktop – Klampuèiai – 9, blacktop – Paeþeriai – 5, blacktop – Vilkaviðkis – 20, blacktop – Kudirkos Naumiestis – 15, blacktop – Sintautai.
9.30 AM: Decampment.
9.30-11 AM: Excursion in Pajevonys.
2 PM: Paezeriai. Excursion in Paezeriai manor.
2.30-3 PM: Paezeriai. Meeting with representatives of Vilkaviskis district municipality, media.
5-6 PM: Kudirkos Naumiestis. Excursion in V.Kudirka museum.
8 PM: Sintautai. Guitar party, fire, staying overnight. There will be possibility to stay overnight at the hotel of Sintautai academy (the price threre is not included in the registration fee).

20th July. The day route (43,5 km.): Sintautai – 13, gravelled road – Panoviai – 11, gravelled road – Slavikai – 13, gravelled road – Sudargas – 6,5, blacktop – Pervazninkai.
10 AM: val. Decampment.
8 PM: Pervazninkai. Farmstead “Suvalkiecio sodyba”. Fire, sauna, staying overnight.

21st July. The day route (42,5 km.): Pervazninkai – 5, blacktop – Kiduliai – 13, gravelled road – Gelgaudiðkis – 14,5, blacktop – Ðakiai – 10, blacktop – Lukðiai.
10 AM: Decampment.
12 AM: Gelgaudiskis. Excursion in Gelgaudiskis manor.
3-3.30 PM: Sakiai, Zanavykai region museum. Meeting with representatives of Sakiai district municipality, media, excursion.
8 PM: Luksiai (at the territory of Zypliai manor). Meeting wtih Luksiai monitor, fire, staying overnight.

22nd July. The day route (40 km.): Lukðiai – 13, gravelled road – Griðkabûdis – 19, blacktop – Viðakio Rûda – 8, forest byways – Past sovietic military base (currently Judres parkas) in Kazlu Ruda forest. 10 AM: Decampment.
12-2 PM: Farmstead in Katinai village, Kazlu Ruda municipality. There will be possibility to have a sauna, to have a swim in the pound.
4-4.30 PM: Visakio Ruda. Meeting with representatives of Kazlu Ruda municipality, media.
8 PM: Ground. Soldierly cereal, music, excursion in past sovietic military base (do not forget spotlights), staying overnight.

23rd July. The day route (77,5 km.): Ground – 6,5, forest byways – Jure – 2, blacktop – Kazlu Ruda – 6, blacktop – Azuolu Buda – 7, blacktop – Gudeliai – 7, blacktop – Plutiskes – 6, blacktop – Utalina – 1,3, gravelled road – Smalinycia – 9, gravelled road – Veselava – 4, gravelled road – Zomcine – 4, gravelled road – Igliauka – 4, blacktop – Sventragis – 7, blacktop – Dauksiai – 9, blacktop – Padovinys – 10, blacktop – Marijampole.
10 AM: Decampment.
8 PM: Marijampole (Sesupe island, on the way from Marijampole to Kalvarija). Closing of the first part of bike tour. Folklore get-together, fire, staying overnight.

II. Poland, Suwalki region, 24th-31st July (275 km).

24th July. The day route (88 km.): Marijampole – 18,5, blacktop – Kalvarija – 13, blacktop – Sangruda – 9, gravelled road – Budzisko – 8, gravelled road – Mojdan – 2, gravelled road – Szelmentka – 3, gravelled road – Becejly – 4,5, blacktop - Przejma Mala – 6, blacktop – Wolownia – 2,5, blacktop – Jeleniewo* – 3, blacktop – Szurpily – 4,5, blacktop – Turtul – 4, blacktop – Blaskowizna – 2, blacktop – Hancza – 5, blacktop – Dzierwany – 3, gravelled road – Smolniki.
* Alternative (12 km): Jeleniewo – 5 – Gulbieniszki (there is very impressive view point) – 7 – Smolniki (there is very impressive view point on the way to Smolniki).
10 AM: Decampment.
1 PM: Budzisko. Meeting with media.
3 PM: Turtul. Excursion in Suwalki landscape park.
Smolniki Schronisko przy Szkole Podstawowej (school). Staying overnight.

25th July. The day route (43,5 km.): Smolniki* – 8, blacktop - Rutka-Tartak – 2,6, blacktop – Potopy – 6, blacktop – Maszutkine – 6,5, blacktop – Wyzajny – 11, blacktop – Zytkiejmy – 7,5, blacktop – Blakaly – 2, blacktop - Stanczyki.
*Alternative (29 km): Smolniki – 5 – Rogozajny Wielki – 5 – Wizajny – 5 – Leszkieme – 4 – Rakowek – 2 – Pobledzie – 8 – Stanczyki.
10 AM: Decampment.
Stanczyki near the historical viaduct. Fire, staying overnight.

26th July. The day route (28 km): Stanczyki – 6,5, gravelled road – Przerosl* – 5, gravelled road – Czostkow – 4,5, gravelled road – Filipow – 12, gravelled road – Bakalarzewo.
* Alternative (22 km): Przerosl – 5 – Czostkow – 2 – Rospuda – 6 – Czarne – 1 – Supiene – 5 – Wolka – 3 – Filipow.
10 AM: Decampment.
Bakalarzewo Szkola Podstawowa (school). Staying overnight.

27th July. The day route (34,5 km.): Bakalarzewo – 6,5, gravelled road – Kamionka – 4, gravelled road – Rabalina – 7, gravelled road – Raczki* – 9, blacktop – Poddubowek – 8, blacktop – Gawrych Ruda.
* Alternative: Raczki – 2 – Dowspuda – 5 – Stoki – 5 – Jozefowo – 3 – Dubowo II – 8 – Gawrych Ruda.
** Alternative (38 km): Raczki – 2 – Dowspuda – 14 – Szczebra – 3 – Nowinka – 12 – Bryzgiel – 7 – Gawrych Ruda.
10 AM: Decampment.
Gawrych Ruda, camp site. Fire, staying overnight.

28th July. The day route (12,5 km): Gawrych Ruda – 2, blacktop – Plociczno – 3,5, blacktop – Sobolewo – 7, gravelled road, blacktop – Str. Folwark.
10 AM: Decampment.
10 AM: Excursion in Wigry national park. Free day for traveling in beautiful Wigry national park.
Str. Folwark, PTTK camp site, lake. Fire, staying overnight.

29th July. The day route (37 km): Str.Folwark – 2, blacktop – Magdalenowo – 2,5, blacktop – Czernowy Folwark – 2,5, blacktop – Rosochaty Rog – 4, blacktop – Mikolajewo – 5, blacktop – Wysoki Most – 5, blacktop – Pogorzelec – 3, blacktop – Karolin – 13, blacktop – Sejny.
10 AM: Decampment.
8 PM: Sejny Zespol Szkol (school). Meeting with Sejny monitor, fire, staying overnight.

30 July. The day route (34 km): Sejny* – 5,5, blacktop – Zegary – 9, gravelled road – Burbiszki – 3,5, gravelled road – Buda Zawidugierska – 9,5, blacktop – Kompocie – 4, blacktop – Trakiszki – 2,5, blacktop – Punsk.
*Alternative (16 km): Sejny – 3 – Zagowiec – 5 – Bubele – 8 – Buda Zawidugierska.
10 AM: Decampment.
8 PM: Punsk. Closing of the international bike tour: party, fire, staying overnight at the Lithuanian school.

31st July. The end of the international bike tour. The day route: Punsk, Wojciuliszki, Wojponie, Jegliniec, Budzisko, Marijampole.
